The incident took place around 7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 27, on Woodbury Road in Woodbury, said the Nassau County Police.
According to detectives, after driving up to his home and exiting his vehicle in the driveway, the 42-year-old victim was approached by two men who both displayed black handguns.
The men forcibly removed the victim’s watch, went into his car, and took a backpack that contained various pieces of jewelry.
The two men then fled on foot southbound on Woodbury Road, said police.
The uninjured victim further described the subjects as being 30-40 years old.
One man was described as having a stocky build and was wearing blue jeans, a white hoodie, and a white skull mask.
The second man had a thin build and was wearing a black hoodie.
